House Leaders’ 100 Percent Clean Energy Plan Draws Support From Solar Industry

SEIA Commends New York State for Signing Historic Renewable Energy Mandate into Law

Washington, D.C.—Today, Governor Cuomo signed the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act into law, one of the most aggressive renewable energy mandates in the United States. The historic law will require the state to procure 6 gigawatts of distributed solar by 2025 and for the state’s utilities to get 70% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2030. We Energies Drops Plan to Tax Solar Customers After Massive Public Outcry

New Solar Permit Software to Reduce Costs and Expand Residential Markets

U.S. Solar Market Sees Best Q1 in History

BOSTON, Mass. AND WASHINGTON D.C., (June 18, 2019) – In the first three months of the year, the U.S. installed 2.7 gigawatts of solar photovoltaics (PV), making it the most solar ever installed in the first quarter of a year. With the strong first quarter, Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables forecasts 25% growth in 2019 compared to 2018, and it expects more than 13 GWdc of installations this year.
